Tonight, we took a walk around downtown Arecibo. This is a photo of one of the oldest buildings in Puerto Rico, a Catholic church built in 1616. Every “city” in PR has a plaza with a Catholic church and a government building.

Today, our group joined another for a side-project. We went to a beautiful beach area outside of Arecibo. The community wanted to improve the aesthetics of their streets, so we painted the curbs white and removed unwanted weeds and plants that were growing on the streets.
