When you first hear “Parent Group,” you might think of a support group for parents or maybe a time like Youth Group but with adults. In actuality, both are somewhat correct. This year, the RCC Student Ministries is expanding! We believe that parents are the real youth ministers, and we believe we should help equip them as much as possible. Therefore, we have created Parent Group.
Our student band plays on the first Youth Group of each month. Typically, this is also the day we kick off a new teaching series. We also have all 6-12 grade students together for the teaching time before going off to the separate and and gender-specific small groups. With Parent Group, we are strongly encouraging parents to join us on those nights. Not only will you get to engage in worship with your children, but we will have a separate small group for you as well. As the students go off to learn about the topic of the night, you will get to rub shoulders with other parents and discuss how you can take home what the students are learning in their groups.
This group will be co-led by Amy Snyder and other parents. We hope you can make it!
This will typically be the first Youth Group of each month. Check our calendar for specific dates.
